The CD is entitled, "EMBE, Don't Worry Be Happy". The title comes from the song by Bobby McFerrin and was arranged by one of the young musicians in the band. EMBE shines on this 11- song recording. It offers pieces in a multitude of styles including a Puerto Rican plena song written and performed by Ronnie Delerme, a Japanese medley written and performed by Akira Satake (whose residency was paid for by a grant from Handmade in America and the Japan Foundation) and a traditional Shona song which was collected during a residency with Zimbabwean mbira and marimba master Musekiwa Chingodza.
